Main > Services > CWTI > Scope Of Work > CWTI Module Descriptions Module DescriptionsIRIS TRMDO services are divided into the modules. Combinations of different modules form the services. Each module is also available stand alone. This system enables IRIS services to be tailored according to the customer requirements. Following are the descriptions of the CWTI service modules. Radio Site Allocation DesignThis module is performed to identify the detailed radio equipment and indoor/outdoor installation material list required to perform CW and TI services, and to provide RBS/BTS room plan and tower/mast/antenna locations. At the end of this module, Radio Site Allocation Design part of Radio Site Engineering report is filled. All necessary equipment/material lists and drawings are included in the mentioned report. Radio Site Cabling DesignThis module is performed to identify the used feeder types and cabling routes/inlets details according to the Radio Network Design requirements. At the end of this module, Radio Site Cabling Design part of Radio Site Engineering report is filled. All necessary feeder types and cabling route drawings are included in the mentioned report. Civil Works SurveyCivil Work Survey is performed in order to identify details of the construction works to be realized in order to prepare radio site for telecom implementation. Static calculations and geotechnical investigation for rooftop sites, towers and masts are the main subjects to be clarified within this module. With general outline design input and the technical details, the constructions works can start. At the end of this module, Civil Work Detailed Design report is prepared including all technical details and drawings mentioned above. Warehouse & LogisticsWarehouse & Logistic is the key module within the whole CWTI services. As per the time is very important for the operators to launch the network, it is very crucial to have and to deliver necessary equipments and materials on time. This module is the one supports whole process where equipment and material storage and delivery is held in. A very well defined and functioning process with experienced resources is essential in order to let this module working properly. Construction WorksConstruction works is the module where Civil Works service is realized. All construction related works and supportive systems such as battery backup, A/C are done according to the details given in the Civil Work Detailed Design report and the radio site made ready for Telecom Implementation. At the end of this module, Civil Work Detailed Design report is updated with the changes from design details if there is any. RBS/BTS InstallationRBS/BTS installation starts after the radio site construction works are completed. Antenna installation, feeder cables, cabinets and BTS equipments are installed and related cable/feeder connections are done in this module according to the Radio Site Engineering report. At the end of this module, radio site becomes ready to be integrated to the network after installing the transmission equipments. Transmission (TRM) InstallationInstallation of transmission equipments starts after completing the RBS/BTS installation. Selected transmission media is installed and related connections are done according to Transmission Network Design Details. At the end of this module, radio site becomes ready for test and commissioning. Final CheckAfter all above modules are completed, final check of the installed site is performed in order to examine the work quality and to avoid any problem before test and commissioning. All works done during the radio site installation such as warning and naming labels, feeder installations, cable connections are checked for the convenience according to the defined standards and fixing. Any problem noticed at final check is corrected and the radio site is become ready to be integrated to the network. Site installation binder containing all details about the installation of the radio site is prepared by combining all the documentation prepared at the end of each module. Updates are done according to the changes/corrections at final check. Test & CommissioningIf all above modules are completed without any problem, radio site is ready to be integrated to the network. It is tested and integrated to the network within this module with the help of operator where necessary definitions in the network elements are done by the operator. Acceptance TestsOnce the radio site is integrated to the network, Acceptance Tests are performed in order to examine whether the RF performance targets are achieved or not? These tests are basically realized in the field by drive testing and supported by statistical data if available. Measured values by drive test are compared with Acceptance Criteria defined by the customer. The acceptance criteria mainly covers the following tests; coverage, quality measurements, handover performance and congestion evaluation. At the end of this module, pre-defined and agreed radio site acceptance report is filled with the measured values for the defined tests and the acceptance is done if all the results are fulfilling the requirements. Reporting / Documentation UpdateReporting and Documentation after completion of each module is the base of all studies and works. Full details regarding to the whole provided service is provided within the reports and documentations. Drawings, pictures, user manuals and all other necessary papers are included in the documentation in order to be handed over to the customer at the end of the work. In case of any change in the deigned or realized work, relevant document is immediately updated according to the real situation. At the end of the whole service, Radio Site Details binder is prepared including CW, TI and Acceptance details and delivered to the customer. |
