Following are the descriptions for the TRMDO services.

New Transmission Network Design

A new transmission network is designed for a new radio network system in a defined service area. Transmission and Radio networks should be designed and implemented in parallel in order to activate the sites as soon as they are ready.

Line of Sight (LOS) Survey

This is the service that you verify transmission availability of the designed sites from the field. It should be realised during both new network design and existing network expansion activities. Outcomes of this activity may even affect the radio network design especially if there is no transmission from the planned site or if the site height is not enough to provide transmission. A report is prepared for each LOS survey.

Microwave Frequency Planning

To complete the transmission network design, frequency plan for all MW links is prepared.  Using computer added tools, the interference is analyzed to ensure intra-network interference thresholds are met. The output of this stage is a MW frequency plan for new links, as well as for existing retuned links.

Transmission Capacity Optimisation

Existing transmission plan is analysed in order to obtain best utilisation of each transmission link considering the expected traffic growth with a safety margin. As outcome of this service transmission links are optimised, and capacity requirements are identified if there is any.

Transmission Performance Optimisation

Performance of the existing transmission links is analysed and recommendations proposed in order to enhance it.  The path of the links, used equipment, assigned frequencies and interference are the subjects of this service.
