IRIS Optimisation services are divided into the modules. Combinations of different modules form the services. Each module is also available stand-alone. This system enables IRIS services to be tailored according to the customer requirements.
Following are the descriptions of modules.

Drive Testing for Voice and Data

Drive test is the main input provider of the optimization activities since this is the only way to gather real subscriber behavior and perceived quality. You can get a full picture of network from the field where real subscriber is using the network. Either you can try to identify the problem during the drive test or you can analyze the collected drive test log file with a post-processing tool in the office. IRIS has skilled drive test engineers equipped with the latest drive test tools and special cars. Different drive test scenarios are applied according to the target of the test and customer requirements.

Frequency Scanning

This module also consists of field data collection activity where all required frequencies are scanned. It is extremely important since the main bottleneck of the radio network systems is interference related issues. Main target of this module is to have supplementary data to the drive test in order to be able make deeper analysis to identify the problems. This module is also used to identify clear frequencies for example to frequency planning.

Drive Test Analysis

This module is the one where collected field drive test data is analyzed and the problems are identified with the help of special post processing tools. Findings of the drive test analysis would be the base of reporting if exists. With the experience of seven years, IRIS developed own post processing tool IRIS Optimiser in order to obtain most accurate results from the drive test data analysis.

Statistical Analysis

Drive test data would be supported with network statistics from the switch in order to obtain the best possible result from the optimization studies. Operator support is required to be able to collect necessary statistics from the switch. Afterwards, IRIS has a wide experience and professional tools to process them.

Short & Long Term Recommendations

This is the module where the outputs of the analysis modules realized by IRIS engineers are converted to the solutions.  It requires strong expertise to identify the problem and recommend solutions for them to complete the process. IRIS adds value to your network with the solutions created by global experienced senior resources. Operator evaluates the recommendations and approved ones are implemented in order to enhance network performance.

Reporting

All activities performed by IRIS services would be presented to the customer with a professional and detailed report. IRIS has special user friendly report formats for each of the services. The reports contain all the details of the realized studies with easy understandable graphs and plots, presented both in soft and hard formats. Both Technical and Management level reportings are available.
