When IRIS was founded in 1999, cellular telecom engineering services were hardly available in Turkey. We were heavily dependent on foreign engineers to perform our contractual obligations towards Turkcell, Ericsson and other regional customers.
Since then, we have trained more than 450 engineers in markets where we have been active. They have all become well-respected professionals and IRIS has developed to be the leading player in a dynamic telecom market.
IRIS main activity is still to provide design and optimization services in different technologies to cellular operators and suppliers in Turkey and the region. However, our service offerings have expanded over the years and have become turnkey to include Rollout Management, Logistic and Warehouse Management, Radio/Transmission Network Design, Site Acquisition, Site Legalization, Civil Works, Telecom Implementation, Commisioning and Integration, Initial Tuning, Radio and Transmission Network Optimization and Maintenance, as well as services to fixed line operators and others.
Based on extensive field experience in many markets, our development of post-processing tools has been very successful. We are putting increasing efforts into developments of new tools, in order to meet changing markets and technical requirements.
With local presence in dynamic markets, IRIS is looking forward to new challenges within the field of cellular telecom, and beyond.
