Following are the descriptions of the CWTI services.
Radio Site Engineering
Radio Site Engineering service is performed at an early stage before the implementation takes place. Site specific details on RBS/BTS/Transmission equipments, power, indoor/outdoor installation materials, cabling routes/feeder types and allocation details are identified with this service. Thus, all details are clarified in order to have a smooth implementation process and to meet requirements of radio network design.
At the end of this module documents prepared consisting of site specific power, installation and material information. These documents are used as an input for civil works and telecom implementation.
Civil Work (CW) Detailed Design
CW Detailed Design service starts right after completing the site acquisition process for a radio site. After all legal access and building permits are obtained for the rented site location civil work experts perform a site visit to discuss and survey all the construction and site access and/or equipment transportation route details according to the radio network design details.
At the end of this module, a report for Civil Works Detailed Design is prepared containing all details and drawings for the construction works.
Civil Works (CW)
Civil Works service is the one where all the site dependent construction works are carried out in order to start Telecom Implementation service and includes provisioning, warehouse and logistic of the relevant equipments. Tower/Mast installations, shelter/container installation, fence, cable trays, lightning protection, earthing, warning lights, A/C, main power unit, electrical systems, generator, battery backup, fire exhauster, antenna brackets and other site specific requirements are built up in this service according to the Civil Work Detailed Design report and drawings.
At the end of the service CW Design Details report and drawings are updated according to the real case if there is any agreed change applied on it.
Telecom Implementation (TI)
TI service includes installation of all radio related site dependent RBS/BTS, transmission equipments, cabling, antenna, alarm systems. Other connections between the radio system and supplementary/protective systems such as battery backup, earthing, power connections are also done in order to make radio site ready to be integrated to the network.
At the end of this service, radio site becomes ready to integrate to the network after test and commissioning.
Test & Commissioning
After Telecom Implementation service is completed, the radio site is ready for integration. IRIS provides Test & Commissioning service for such sites in order to test and make it on air after ensuring that everything is working properly.
Acceptance
Acceptance service is carried out in order to assess that radio network related performance of the new integrated radio site is satisfactorily compared to the acceptance criteria defined by the customer. Several measurements performed according to the identified methods in order to test coverage, quality and handover performance of the radio site in comparison with the target values. Congestion values may also be included in the acceptance criteria if network statistics are available.
At the end of this service an acceptance report is prepared for each site showing the measured performance values for the concerned site and presented to the customer.
